Visegrád is situated on the highest point of the Danube's Hungarian reach. It is 40 km far from Budapest, where the river breaks through the Börzsöny-hills, and the Visegrádi-hills in a sharp turn. The open bath, which can hold about 2400 people, was built on a woody hillside.

In the cultured parked environment, there is a 33 meters swimming pool that is suitable for arranging swimming competition. In addition, there are two more pools, one for children and a terrace formed thermal bath. The thermal pool is filled up continuously with 39 degrees warm thermal water, which spring up in the area of the bath.

The thermal spring contains not only calcium, magnesium and hydrogen-carbonate but relatively little salt concentrated alkaloids as well.

The open-air bath lies on a 28263 sq parked area. It can hold maximum 2400 people at the same time. Our guests can be received in dressing room with coat hanger, or in bathing box.

In the bath there are three pools:

• a 25 degrees, 33 meters swimming pool with six lines;
• a 36-38 degrees, tripartite, terrace formed, 600 sq.meters thermal pool;
• a 150 sq.meters pool for children with water cleaning machine.

In the bath there are self-service restaurant, restaurant, buffets, boutiques. It is possible to hire sunbathing beds.

We inform you, that the construction works of the Visegrád-Lepence SPA Hotel & Amusement- and Cave Bath have been started on the territory of the thermal bath. During the construction the thermal bath is CLOSED! The planned opening is in 2011, until we ask for your patience!
